  • WhatSnap BYOP prices are software only. They exclude your own devices and carrier plans. For iMessage, that is an iPhone per Line plus a Mac, your own or a cloud Mac. For SMS, it is an Android phone per Line. Add the SIMs, power and internet.
  • $29/mo is per GHL Subaccount and includes 1 Line. Each extra Line in the same Subaccount is +$15/mo. So 5 Lines in one Subaccount are $89/mo, and 10 Lines are $164/mo. Each additional Subaccount starts its own $29 base.
  • Blooio Commercial Dedicated figures multiply $289 per line by the line count, following the formula in Blooio's pricing file.
  • Blooio Enterprise Dedicated figures use the per-line rate in Blooio's volume table. That rate is $389 for 1 line, $233 each at 5 lines and $195 each at 6 or more. We read that rate as applying to every line at that count; confirm with Blooio.
  • Both Blooio columns leave out the one-time $75 custom area code fee per number, charged for numbers outside Blooio's ready inventory. They also leave out any porting charges.
  • Blooio's shared and reply-only plans, per its pricing page: Starter is $39/mo and Commercial Shared is $89/mo, both on shared numbers. Inbound is $98/mo and reply-only.
  • This is a price comparison, not a total cost of ownership. Device and carrier costs vary by team, so we do not publish an all-in saving.

Why the Line should live with your rep

Blooio now leads its marketing with Apple Messages for Business, Apple's verified channel for brands, where outbound runs through Apple's Business Invitations. Its blue-bubble lines are still on sale on a separate P2P page. If your team texts new leads first, the phone-number line is still the product you are buying.

On that line, the iPhone sits on Blooio's side, and its terms say cancelling may permanently release the number. Blooio's own origin story starts with a client's sales reps who kept texting leads from their personal iPhones. Their reason: "We're using our phones to actually build a relationship with the lead." WhatSnap BYOP keeps that iPhone in the rep's hand and puts GHL behind it.

On BYOP, a rep can grab their own phone, reply or record a voice note, and the conversation keeps syncing to GHL. They can call the lead from the same number. Apple's limits are the same for every provider. The difference is who owns the Line.

Bring your own phones (BYOP)

The line lives in your rep's pocket, not in someone else's rack

With BYOP, WhatSnap connects iPhones, Macs and Android phones you own to GHL. Your workflows send from your number. On an iMessage Line, your rep holds the iPhone. Here is what that changes for sales and marketing teams.

Your number, your Apple ID

On BYOP, the number, the SIM, the Apple ID and the carrier plan belong to you, not to us. If you leave WhatSnap, you lose the GHL connection; the phone, the number and the Apple ID stay with you.

The iPhone stays in your rep's pocket

On an iMessage Line, the iPhone is a real phone on your own carrier plan, paired with a Mac on the same Apple ID. When a text thread needs a voice, the rep can call the lead from the same number, on that iPhone. It is an ordinary call on your carrier line, placed from the phone, not from GHL. Carriers set their own rules for calls too, so the same spam-labeling risks apply to any number.

Reply from the phone

On an iMessage Line, the rep picks up the iPhone and replies, or records a voice note, right in Messages. The conversation keeps syncing to GHL, so your team sees the thread there too.

Leads may already know the number

Connect a mobile number your leads already have saved, and your message arrives from a contact they know. With Apple's Share Name and Photo turned on, iMessage can also show your name and photo.

You pay us for software, not hardware

$29 a month per GHL Subaccount, with 1 Line included. Each extra Line in the same Subaccount is $15 a month: 5 Lines come to $89, 10 Lines to $164. No per-message fees from WhatSnap. These prices exclude your devices and carrier plans: you buy the devices (or rent a cloud Mac) and pay your carrier directly.

Grow at your pace

Add a Line when you add a rep: $15 a month in the same Subaccount, plus the devices and carrier plan for that Line. There is no platform cap on Lines per agency, and each Line builds its own reputation. Keep a mobile number you already use, area code and all. Or port one onto your SIM, or get a new number from the carrier you choose.

What you take on with BYOP

Owning the line means running the devices. Here is what that takes, in plain terms.

  • iMessage Line: a Mac on macOS 11 or later (your own, or one you rent in the cloud; the iPhone, number and Apple ID stay yours) plus an iPhone with an active carrier plan, both signed into the same Apple ID.

  • SMS Line: an Android phone on Android 9 or later, with a SIM on an active SMS plan.

  • WhatsApp: connects by QR code, from Linked Devices on the phone that runs WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business.

  • Devices stay powered, online and awake. Keep the Mac, and an Android SMS phone, plugged in on stable Wi-Fi. If a device drops offline, delivery pauses, and WhatSnap queues messages for up to 24 hours; after that, they are marked failed.

  • A fresh Line warms up over 14 days. A number with history and inbound traffic may not need a formal warm-up, but our Acceptable Use Policy's first-14-day pacing still applies unless we confirm otherwise in writing.

  • Apple watches how many brand-new conversations each Apple ID starts. Providers typically keep it near 50 a day per line: our Acceptable Use Policy allows up to 50 new recipients a day per Apple ID in a new Line's first 14 days, and Sendblue's and Linq's docs use the same figure. Apple's rules are the same for every provider; the difference is who owns the line.

  • Apple and your carrier set their own rules and can act on any line, so we do not promise immunity. WhatSnap is built for leads who expect to hear from you, not for cold outreach at scale.

  • Devices and carrier plans are on you: hardware you buy once (or a Mac you rent in the cloud), a monthly carrier plan you pay directly, and power and internet to keep the devices online.

Rather not run devices? WhatSnap also offers managed plans, from $77/mo per line: we provide and operate the iPhone, and you focus on the conversations. Managed Lines use numbers we provide, so the ownership points above apply to BYOP. See every option on the pricing page.

When Blooio may fit better

  • You want no hardware to run. Per Blooio, no Apple hardware is needed on your end, and its numbers arrive warmed for production use. There is no Mac to keep online and no warm-up on your side. If that is your main reason, WhatSnap does this too: our managed plans run the device for you, from $77/mo per line. See the pricing page.

  • You want a verified brand on Apple's channel. Blooio is an Apple Messages for Business provider, with a free sandbox. Its Growth plan is $199/mo for 500 monthly active users, on a 6-month minimum. It suits conversations your customers start.

  • You are building a product on an API. Blooio's pricing file lists full REST API access, webhooks and an MCP server for AI agents on all plans. Its feature log adds group chats.

Moving from Blooio to WhatSnap BYOP in five steps

  1. Decide on the number before you cancel

On a dedicated Blooio line, ask Blooio about porting the number to a carrier SIM you own. Keep the account open until the port completes. Blooio's terms say cancelling may permanently release the number, and its pricing file says porting charges may apply. On a shared plan, the sender number can vary and is not guaranteed to be unique to you. Plan on a new number on your own SIM.

  2. Set up your devices

For iMessage: an iPhone with an active carrier plan and a Mac on macOS 11 or later (your own or a cloud Mac). Both sign into the same Apple ID. For SMS: an Android phone on Android 9 or later with a SIM. WhatsApp links by QR code. Keep every device powered on and online. Start with Connect your first Line.

  3. Connect WhatSnap to GHL

Install WhatSnap from the GHL Marketplace, set it as the telephony provider in each Subaccount, and add your Lines. Point every workflow step that sent through Blooio to GHL's native Send SMS action, which then routes through your devices.

  4. Carry over your opt-outs

Get your opt-out list from Blooio, and ask its support if you cannot find an export. Mark those contacts DND in GHL before any workflow runs.

  5. Warm up, then scale

Give a fresh Line the 14-day warm-up. A ported number with established history may not need a formal carrier warm-up, but a new Apple ID still ramps. Start with leads who already replied, stay within about 50 new iMessage conversations per Apple ID per day, and add devices to add capacity.

Frequently asked questions

Does Blooio still offer blue-bubble iMessage lines?

Yes. As of October 22, 2026, Blooio sells phone-number iMessage lines on its pricing and P2P pages, and its GHL integration page is live. On October 1, 2026, Blooio launched as an Apple Messages for Business provider, and its homepage now leads with that channel.

What is the difference between Apple Messages for Business and iMessage from a phone number?

On Apple Messages for Business, customers message a verified brand profile, not a phone number. Per Blooio, outbound runs through Apple's Business Invitations, and Apple completes an Experience Review before launch. iMessage from a phone number is a blue bubble from a number, the way a person texts. Your team can text a new lead first, within Apple's limits. In our experience, speed-to-lead and follow-up sequences start with the business texting first, so they typically need a phone-number line.

How much does Blooio cost per line compared with WhatSnap?

Per Blooio's pricing page as of October 22, 2026, Commercial Dedicated is $289/mo per line. Enterprise Dedicated is $389 for one line in Blooio's pricing file, falling to $195 per line at 6 or more lines. Shared-number plans are $39/mo on Starter and $89/mo on Commercial Shared. Inbound is $98/mo and reply-only. WhatSnap BYOP is $29/mo per GHL Subaccount with 1 Line. Each extra Line in the same Subaccount is $15/mo, so 5 Lines are $89/mo and 10 are $164/mo. WhatSnap BYOP is software only, so your devices and carrier plans are extra.

Do I need extra hardware to send iMessage from GHL?

On Blooio, no. Per Blooio's GHL guide, no Mac, iPhone or other Apple hardware is needed on your end, because Blooio runs the iPhones. On WhatSnap BYOP, yes. An iMessage Line needs an iPhone with an active carrier plan and a Mac on macOS 11 or later, your own or a cloud Mac. Both sign into the same Apple ID. The number, SIM and Apple ID are yours, so the Line is too.

Can I keep my Blooio number if I move to WhatSnap?

Ask Blooio before you cancel. Its pricing file says number porting is available on dedicated plans and charges may apply. It does not say whether that covers porting out. Its terms say cancelling may permanently release the number, so keep the account open until any port completes. Shared-plan numbers can vary and are not guaranteed to be yours alone, so plan on a new number on your own SIM.

What happens when a GHL contact uses Android?

On WhatSnap BYOP, the iPhone sends an SMS fallback from the same number, as long as it is powered on with an active carrier plan. You can also connect an Android phone with a SIM as an SMS Line. Per Blooio, its lines include RCS and SMS fallback. Its March 2026 GHL guide says SMS fallback in GHL runs through your existing Twilio connection. Its October 2026 comparison page says its HighLevel app routes Apple Messages for Business first, then RCS Business Messaging, then SMS.

Put the line in your rep's pocket

Open a free demo account and start testing right now, with one limited Line and no credit card. When you are ready, move to BYOP and send from your own number in GHL. On an iMessage Line, your rep can reply from the iPhone, and the conversation keeps syncing to GHL. Add Lines as the team grows: $29 a month per GHL Subaccount with 1 Line included, $15 a month for each extra Line in the same Subaccount. Devices and carrier plans not included.
